Born and raised
in Nanaimo, ROB GREY's family
settled into the Nanaimo area in the early 1890s. Rob's father was
a Realtor for over 35 years in Nanaimo and his mother was a successful
businessperson, operating a dancing school and hotels. Most of Rob's
family still resides in the Nanaimo area in various fields from
schoolteachers to business people.
Rob obtained
a diploma in business management from BCIT in 1987; he operated
successful restaurants and neighbourhood pubs in Vancouver and on
Vancouver Island.
His calling
for real estate sales came in 1991, when he first joined Nanaimo
Realty. In 1995, he moved on to RE/MAX of Nanaimo where he has established
himself as one of Nanaimo's consistent Top Realtors.
Rob could not think of a better way to spend any time away from work than with his two beautiful children.
In
late 2002, Rob formed the Rob Grey Real Estate Team…
a
strong step forward into advanced real estate sales. The Team Concept

JANICE
STROMAR has learned the real estate business "from
the inside" as Office Manager and has stepped into the role
of Buyer Specialist. Her extensive background as a paralegal serves
her well in explaining to buyers detailed-oriented topics such as
contracts. Originally from Port Alberni, Janice has resided in Nanaimo
since 1994.

Justus Edmundson

JUSTUS began his career in finance in Nanaimo in 1994 after leaving the fishing industry. Born and raised on the Island, he left to follow his career path and spent several years living on the lower mainland managing finance offices in various cities. Justus’s background includes Personal Loans and Mortgages, retail financing , auto finance, and business development.
Justus and his wife Kelly moved back to Nanaimo when he had the opportunity to open and staff a western buying center for a national automotive financing company. Always an “Island-boy”, Justus and Kelly jumped at the opportunity to return to this great community, and to Vancouver Island. Always in search of a new challenge, Justus has now become the newest member of the Rob Grey Real Estate Team at Remax of Nanaimo, and looks forward to assisting families in their search for their next home.

TOM moved over to Vancouver Island from Vancouver in 1994 to take advantage of its unique lifestyle. Following a successful career as a systems analyst Tom decided to join forces with his wife Janice and the Rob Grey team in 2005 and brings a commanding attention to detail to all of his real estate transactions. In a simple but effective perspective, Tom treats each home purchase he helps his clients with as if it were his own with his primary focus being to provide the best possible exemplary and personal service.

STEW
launched his Nanaimo real estate career in 1991 with
the goal of providinghonest, professional service to his clients
while maintaining a relaxed, friendly approach. Stew is a consistent
top producer in the industry and is a member of the ReMax Hall
of Fame, with a high level of repeat customers and referrals.
In 2004 he joined the Rob Grey Real Estate Team based on his ongoing
friendship with Rob, and a sincere belief in Rob's team concept.
Stew and his
wife Pat (Stew's assistant for 13 years) believe in giving back
to the community by donations to such organizations as the Childrens
Miracle Network and Haven Society, and have fostered and volunteered
with the SPCA and dog rescue organizations for 25 years.

BRIAN
moved to Nanaimo in 1999 after 13 years as a successful Realtor on Salt Spring Island. Brian brings many years of experience to the Rob Grey Real Estate Team and is focused on helping people realize their real estate goals.
Brian and his wife Sharlene love the life style Vancouver Island offers and enjoy time with their 2 daughters, spouses and 2 grandchildren. When not working with clients, Brian enjoys family time on the boat, photography, cars and travelling.

Gord Wall
Associate Realtor
Having been a Licensed Realtor since 1990, and a Journeyman Carpenter before that, Gord has the ability to join his experience in real estate and know-how of the home building industry to offer you the most thorough and knowledgeable service available.
That said, with Gord's experience as a Nanaimo real estate professional, he also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting his clients first. This means keeping himself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been Gord's approach and is the reason Gord joined the Rob Grey Real Estate Team, to offer his clients better service.
Gord has been married to Sherry since 1984 and has 2 adult sons, Marvin and AJ. Gord and Sherry are avid Nanaimo Clipper hockey fans, and enjoy exploring in their RV to relax.

Office Manager
MELANIE
DONOHUE handles day-to-day operations as Office Manager,
and addresses all aspects of our marketing plan, client service
systems, and conveyancing. Mel brings vast real estate administrative
experience to the Rob Grey Real Estate Team. She has a 14-year-old
daughter.

Buyer Systems Coordinator
VERA
KAHAN joined the Team in 2003 as a Buyers Systems Coordinator
and adds a vibrant quality to our Team. Vera possesses extensive
legal experience and terrific organizational skills. Though she
originates from Saskatchewan, Vera is a long-time Nanaimo resident,
and has two children.
